We are Emanuela Bertoni and Adam Korytko, two UTD Cave 1 instructors (as well as NSS-CDS) who provide cave diver training and guided cave diving services in the Riviera Maya in Mexico, where you can dive all year round. We maintain the highest standards of service, safety and conservation in all aspects of your cave diving.

All our services are personalized for each diver needs, we can teach you in 4 languages English, Spanish, Italian and French.

Based in Puerto Aventuras, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, we are the ideal location for your Yucatan cave diving vacation. There are some excellent all-inclusive hotels and condo rentals available. If you choose not to stay in a hotel, we offer accommodation in air conditioned condo units with pool and hot tubs, overlooking the golf course, a fantastic location just a few minutes from the marina, the beaches and the cenotes.

The first few Cenotes (Chac Mool, Ponderosa, Taj Mahal, Minotauro, Chikin Ha, Xtabay and others) are within 5 minutes drive from Puerto Aventuras, not too bad, eh?

We emphasize the use of the correct gas for the dive profile, Nitrox, Helitrox, Trimix are available, as well as different deco mixes.

We have a good range of equipment for rental/sale from some of the best brands around, Oxycheq, Light Monkey, Weezle, Hollis as well as UTD equipment.

If you are a certified cave diver we can help you out on organizing double tanks, single tanks, stages, deco bottles, scooters for your enjoyment down here, of course DIR rigged ready to dive.

When teaching, we place great emphasis on buoyancy, trim and propulsion techniques, essential to a safe dive in the cave and caverns, where a careless fin-kick can damage our precious caves or quickly silt out an overhead passage. You will feel the challenge of meeting and going beyond the minimum requirements of any course you attend - we are not an easy option for c-card collectors, we want to provide you with the best preparation available for this demanding environment, in order to make you a competent, confident and comfortable diver ... a really thinking diver!

When guiding certified cave divers, as instructors we really want this experience to be good value for you so we will also give you some tips on how to make your cave diving more fun.

We do not believe in "trust me" dives. We will always ensure that every diver is within his/her comfort zone before beginning a dive, we do not merely have divers follow us. We expect divers to be self-reliant, to place their own markers when in doubt; we will show you some fantastic dives, it is up to you to remain in charge of your own dive.

We can either simply indicate suitable tie-offs and let you run the dive, or we can lead from the front, having provided you with a clear and safe dive plan that fits your level of experience.

We will not take more than three cave divers per guide at any one time (depending on the cave even fewer sometimes), therefore the two of us can cater for up to six divers. Should your group be larger, we will provide additional cave instructors.

Why only cave instructors? For your safety; we believe that cave divers can know systems well, yet a cave instructor is uniquely positioned and trained to cope with unforeseen problems which may affect the safety of the whole team, but most of all we can give you some tips while guiding therefore extending and refining your training.

We firmly believe that diving is FUN, yet this enjoyment can only be had if the approach is one where safety is a key ingredient. We live here and dive the caves in the Riviera Maya every day, so we are intimately familiar with the locations we will take you to; we are also authorized cave guides for the Yucatan peninsular, as well as a legally established Mexican limited liability company.

Enjoyment and safety go hand in hand in all forms of diving. We hope our philosophy fits your requirements - if so, please contact us to discuss your next cave diving vacation in Mexico on the Riviera Maya.

Hasta luego!
